  • Flat Stanley Gets Fit !

    • This project, based on the book Flat Stanley by Jeff Brown, is a story about a young boy who was flattened when a bulletin board fell on him.  In our version, Flat Stanley has recently become overweight due to physical inactivity and poor eating habits, making it difficult for him to do some of the fun things that he used to enjoy.

  • Amazing Spiderman on Bullying Prevention
  • Link to prevent child abuse web site and information on Spiderman comic
  • The Amazing Spider-Man and The Brace, the villain he is fighting, discover that they share a past as victims of the same school bullies.  They come to see how a witness who spoke out against SpiderMan's humiliation helped set the future Super Hero on a path of helping others, while The Brace, who had no ally, became a bully himself.  Readers learn that while everyone is vulnerable to bullying, refusing to passively witness, or perpetuate, this type of abuse makes life better for all.
