entertaining evening as area physicians showcase
their musical talents in support of the Alliance.

 Bands performing include
WanderLust, 200 Joules and Skin Deep.

WanderLust
WanderLust plays the music of many great artists representing a wide range of musical styles from jazz standards to modern rock and everything in between. Scott Lankford, M.D., a radiation Oncologist with SouthEast Radiation Oncology, plays guitar and drum triggers with his feet while accompanying the sultry voice of Detra Bennet.

200 Joules
200 Joules from Charlotte that includes three area doctors. Emergency physician Parker Hays, M.D. heads the band as the lead vocalist. Dr. Hays is joined by fellow emergency doctor Ekachai Lucktong, M.D. on guitar and vocals, and Bob Weir, a licensed massage therapist, on drums. 200 Joules musical background is diverse, with members citing everyone from The Beatles, Van Halen, Lenny Kravitz and various influences from reggae to country and modern alternative bands.

Skin Deep
Dermatologists by day, Aaron Wever (keyboard), Brian Walther (guitar) and Billy Sumner (vocals) have enjoyed rocking for their office and private parties. John Reeves, commercial banker for blueharbor bank in Mooresville and son of the late Cabarrus pathologist William John Reeves, joins in on bass. Matt Honeycutt who makes Roush race car engines whir, crashes the drums. Cut from the Four Skins of Durham, Skin Deep produces a "different" sound to some popular music from the 70s to present.

Skin Deep's Tentative Song list:

Don't stop believin
Home sweet home
Sweet Dreams (are made of this)
